- This Level 1 piano duet in A Minor uses easy hand positions and was inspired by the sound of the ice cream van as it makes its' way around the streets. Both Primo and Secondo parts are written using Treble and Bass staves for easier reading. The dotted half notes (dotted minims) in the Secondo part provides a finger pedal technique and needs to be played legato. This duet needs a singing, bell like tone with careful tempo and dynamic control at the end to convey the sound of the van as it moves off into distance still playing it's tune.
